Open Enrollment 2021
October 5 - 23, 2020

Open Enrollment medical, dental and vision plan changes are to be made through the Munis ESS portal under 'Benefits.' All elections made during Open Enrollment will go into effect on January 1, 2021.

HSA and FSA elections must be newly elected every year. Your current HSA and FSA elections will not carry forward into the new year. These forms are due in HR by November 6th, 2020. See links to forms below.


The County will be contributing into HSA's in 2021! Employees enrolled in a single coverage level high deductible plan will receive $200. Employees enrolled in family level coverage (plus one or more dependent) will receive $400. These contributions are made directly into employees' HSA Central accounts with half going into accounts in January, and half in July.

There is a special limited enrollment period for Voluntary Life Insurance this year. See below for more information.

Mid-year changes to medical, dental, vision and FSA plans may only be made in the case of a Qualifying Life Event, such as loss of other employer coverage, obtaining other employer coverage, loss of or qualification for Medicare or Medicaid, marriage, divorce or legal separation, birth/adoption, or death. HR must be notified within 30 days of the event. Please contact Julie Pickett in HR for more information.
